Biografi Purwacaraka
Purbakarka (born Belgrade, Yugoslavia, March 31, 1960) is an Indonesian musician and composer. Tri Utami, one of Purwakarka's younger brothers, is an Indonesian singer and musician.
The eldest of three siblings, he knew music from an early age. His father, Swidjono, loved music even though he was in the army. I have a large collection of LPs, collected from America at work. When Purvakarkar was seven years old, his father bought him a piano. Not only this, Purwa learned classical piano from Hungarian piano teacher A Bekalef in Bandung. When Purba was in junior high school, his father's friend from America offered Purba to study music in America. Impressed with Purwar's game plan. Too bad her mom didn't turn it on.
Purwa's parents' support for music did not end with buying her a piano and encouraging her to learn the instrument. They still want their child to get a formal education. Since 1979, Purwa has worked in a music company and played Malaysian and Singaporean music while in high school. In the end, Purwa chose the industrial engineering department from high school at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) to fulfill her parents' wishes. He developed his musical talent while studying at the Industrial Engineering Department of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). She often gets work done, from an immaculate wedding to a school children's get-together. Despite his preoccupation with music, Purba managed to complete his studies with a grade point average (GPA) above three (on a scale of 4).
Music has become the flesh and blood of the East. To show his passion for music, he established a music school called Purvakarak Music Studio. After 28 years of growth, now Purwa is proud to have around 50 branches of its music schools spread across major cities in Indonesia.
Purvakarka married Sri Suzanthi in 1981. Their marriage is blessed with three children namely son Aditya Purwa, daughter Andrea Miranda Dwisanti and daughter Amanda Geetha Uthami. Their three children followed in their parents' footsteps in art. While Aditya chose to study film at school, Andrea and Amanda followed in their father's footsteps in music. Even Andrea, who dreams of becoming a Broadway singer, started performing at Gedung Kesenyan Jakarta on November 20, 2007. Andrea and her three colleagues; Meliana Effendi, Zena Iriana, Adyuta Abandika performed live music with the Purvakarka Small Orchestra titled All the Way Recital.
