Stevie Morley Ithem: Stevie Morley Ithem was born on March 28, 1979 in Jakarta as the second of four children born to Yopi Ithem and Evie Akwanti. Starting to get acquainted with music in the 6th grade of elementary school, the first musical instrument he mastered was the organ, but later Stevie became more interested in other musical instruments, namely the guitar.

At the time, Edge was interested in learning to play the guitar because he saw a friend of his playing the guitar. Stevie was a fast learner at the time and immediately found the chords for Guns n Roses Sweet Child O Mine. He then returned home, and since at home there was a large collection of guitars that belonged to his father, Yoppy Item, Stevie immediately looked at the strings he learned from his friend.

By the time he was in high school, Stevie had started learning the guitar and formed a band with his friends from school, but the band rarely practiced, instead Stevie often played guitar by himself in his room to expand his knowledge of the guitar

After entering high school, he continued to be involved in bands and hooked up with many regular members because Stevie was always synonymous with defunct bands and did not have a permanent group. Stevie, a high school junior, auditioned as a guitarist for the Iwa K Band and was accepted as an additional player in the Iwa K Band, which was touring at the time.

Stevie Morley Item has always liked hardcore music like Megadeth, Metallica, Anthrax, Sepultura, but he also likes bands like Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana, Soundgarden, The Cardigans, Foo Fighters and more.

Since then Stevie has been very popular as a backup guitarist for many bands and artists including Oppie Andarista, Audy, Ari Lasso, Ratu, Samson, Dewa19 and many more. In addition to coming and going as a backup musician, Stevie has also been involved in various recording projects with the likes of Dewa19, Ari Lasso, Ratu, Oppie Andarista, Chrisye, and more. Around the same time, in 1999, a friend suggested that Stevie join a group in Jakarta called StepForward. In 2004 Stevie left StepForward and now formed a Death Metal band with Andian Horust (Torturing Graves), Boni (Tengkorak), Babal (Alexander), Prisa (Zala) called "DeadSquad".

In 2001-2002 Stevie who was also an additional player in dewa19 met Andro Ramadan, at that time Andro wanted to record a solo album and asked Stevie to join the project. Due to Dewa19's busy schedule at the time, the project was shelved. And they started again around 2005, starting to record demos with Andra. But the process is not very well thought out yet, because each of them has their own activities, and Dewa19's tour schedule is also very busy.

In 2006 Stevie Morley Item and Andra Ramadan met Dedi Leeson in Cirebon, at the time Dedi was a reporter for 'HAI' magazine covering dewa19. At the time, Stevie and Andra were looking for a vocalist for this project, they heard and received advice from Ari Lasso that Daddy was the singer who had the right personality for this project. So, Andra asked Dadi to test her voice for the avant-garde song. Since Dadi's character voice was really suitable for the project, Stevie and Andra, already comfortable with Dadi, immediately sent their demo album to the record company (EMI Music Indonesia). And the label immediately agreed to the demo album's concept and material. Stevie of Andra & The Backbone has released 2 albums.
