Slank is a famous music group from Indonesia. The group Bimbim was formed on December 26, 1983, because they were bored of making music as a cover band and had a strong desire to create their own songs. The precursor to the birth of Slender was a group called Cikini Stones Complex (CSC) formed in the early 80s by Bimo Setiawan Sidharta (Bimbim). This group only played Rolling Stones songs and did not want to play other groups' songs, as a result they eventually got bored and at the end of 1983 this group broke up.
Bimbim continued his passion for music with his two brothers, Danny and Erwan, to form Red Evil, which later changed its name to Slank, a name that came naturally due to the derision of people who often refer to them as Selengi Boys referred to. with Bongki's additional staff (guitar) and Kiki (guitar). Residence Bimbim Jl. Potlot 14 became their main base.
They appeared on several stages and brought their own songs before Erwan decided to retire because he felt he had no hope from Slank. This RPG has 13 settings, Bimbim, Kaka, Bongky, Pay and Indra, the new solid Slim.
Forming Bimbim (drums), Bongky (bass), Pay (guitar), Kaka (vocals) and Indra (keyboards), they began making demos to pitch to record companies.
After repeated rejections, his demo was finally accepted in 1990 and he began recording his debut album, Suit-Suit... He He He (Sexy Girl). The album, which included the hits Indeed and Forgiveness, exploded in the market, so much so that they were awarded the BASF Award for the best newcomer in the category. Their second album Kampungan also achieved the same success.
DRUGS
the staff's drug problem has created a rift in the body of the group, which is headquartered on Jalan Potlot. While working on the album Keinam (Again Sad), Bimbim as the leader finally decided to fire Bongky, Pay and Indra. Kaka and Bimbim are still working on their 6th album with additional players.
Instead, they appointed Ivanka (bass), Mohammad Ridho Hafiedz (Ridho) and Abdee Negara (Abdee). This formation has survived to this day, and they continue to create works that confirm their existence in the world of Indonesian music.

SLIM BULLETIN
To get the word out to Slanker, Slank e-management decided to create a newsletter, then called the Slank Bulletin. This newsletter contains schedules, short stories about Slank stage rides and so on. The name of the bulletin itself is used as a symbol for dieters to circle (boletin) to schedule slimming activities in their respective activity calendars.
This Slim newsletter later evolved into the Slim Koran.
